  39.   HP PerfRX Analysis Software is an interactive performance analysis
  40.   software tool for managing system resource utilization.  It provides
  41.   a graphical and tabular interface to historical system performance
  42.   data collected by the HP Performance Collection Software.  With
  43.   HP PerfRX, users can easily identify existing and potential system
  44.   performance problems.

  46.   In terms of functionality, HP PerfRX is similar to the current
  47.   HP LaserRX product.  Both products provide a powerful user interface
  48.   to historical performance data collected by the HP Performance
  49.   Collection Software.  Now, customers have a choice in platform for
  50.   their analysis.  HP LaserRX/MPE is a PC-based software tool for
  51.   analyzing HP3000 performance logfiles.  HP LaserRX/UX is a PC-based
  52.   software tool for analyzing HP9000 performance logfiles.  And, HP PerfRX
  53.   is an HP-UX workstation software tool for analyzing either HP3000 or
  54.   HP 9000 performance logfiles.

  56.   HP PerfRX comes with a set of pre-defined graphs to easily analyze
  57.   common performance situations.  The software also allows the user to
  58.   customize and create their own set of graphs for their own specific
  59.   analysis.

  61.   Within the graphs, users can get a listing of the actual applications and
  62.   processes running during a specific period of time.  This listing also
  63.   includes the amount of system resources utilized by each application
  64.   and process.  This is a powerful feature of HP PerfRX, as it allows the

  66.   to the more detailed application- and process-level.
